NEIGHBORHOW

Neighborhow makes it easy to find and share ways to improve city neighborhoods. User can (1) create their own Neighborhow Guides on topics they choose or (2) browse Neighborhow Guides on topics submitted to Neighborhow.

The application has been developed by Code for America and the City of Philadelphia. Neighborhow makes it easy to find and share ways to improve city neighborhoods. Neighborhow is based on the creation and sharing of Guides. A Neighborhow Guide can be about anything a citizen think would be useful to other people the community: how to organize a block party; how to get a free backyard tree from the city; how to track blighted properties in the neighborhood. It is s a knowledge-sharing tool for citizens and their communities. Registration allows you to share information with other users about urban improvement projects.

Neighborhow is a place to collect and share citizen knowledge about urban improvement projects like starting a blood drive or designing a mini-park.

Information on Neighborhow is public. Users are responsible for the use of the Services. The Content users submit, post, or display is visible to other users of the Services.

Any information provided to Neighborhow is subject to Privacy Policy, which governs the collection and use of your information.

All Content is the sole responsibility of the user who originated it. Any use or reliance on any Content or materials posted via the Services or obtained by through the Services is at users own risk.

Intellectual property rights: By submitting Content to Neighborhow, users grant license to use, copy, and distribute this Content in any of our media or distribution methods.

The Neighborhow codebase is open-source and is available for civic and non-profit use under a BSD license.
