Edifice is a web application that visualizes a series of maps related to the built environment of the city of Chicago.

The website skeleton and the map styles are borrowed from Mapbox.

Each map reveals a different facet of the city:

  • Building footrpints
  • Demolitions
  • Violations
  • New constructions

The city is being used by the city of Chicago.
